Job Title: Trade Finance Sales & Operations Senior Manager

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Trade Finance Sales & Operations Manager to support the bank’s expansion in trade finance services. This role sits at the intersection of client origination and transaction execution, ensuring seamless delivery of trade finance solutions while driving revenue growth.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in facilitating both local and international trade, helping clients reduce risk, optimize working capital, and improve cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Client Coverage
• Originate and structure trade finance deals with corporate and SME clients
• Build strong relationships with importers, exporters, and key industry players
• Identify cross-selling opportunities within existing banking relationships
• Collaborate with relationship managers to grow the trade finance portfolio
2. Product Execution & Operations
• Manage end-to-end execution of trade finance transactions
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal and international standards
• Coordinate with internal teams (credit, risk, operations) for smooth deal processing
• Monitor transaction timelines and resolve operational bottlenecks
3. Product Expertise
Drive and support delivery of key products including:
• Letters of Credit (LC)
• Bank Guarantees
• Documentary Collections
• Supply Chain Finance / Factoring
4. Risk & Compliance
• Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory requirements and international trade standards (e.g. UCP, URDG)
• Conduct due diligence on trade transactions to mitigate financial and operational risks
Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business, or related field
• 5–10 years of experience in trade finance, transaction banking, or corporate banking
• Strong understanding of trade finance instruments and international trade processes
• Proven experience in both sales (origination) and operations (execution)
• Familiarity with international rules such as UCP 600, URDG, and Incoterms
• Strong client management and communication skills
• Ability to work across teams and manage multiple transactions simultaneously
